Please Assist Me Achieved a 2.5x Retargeting ROAS Through a Full-Funnel Paid Media Strategy
Please Assist Me gives busy apartment residents a way to outsource everyday household tasks, from cleaning and home refreshes to errands and chores. The challenge wasn't simply generating traffic. Bluum needed to introduce an unfamiliar service model, turn that interest into sign-ups and purchases, and create reliable tracking between advertising and actual revenue.
Bluum built a full-funnel acquisition strategy across Meta and Google, designed a dedicated Unbounce landing page, improved purchase and revenue tracking, and continuously tested creative, messaging, offers, and the landing-page experience.
As the strategy evolved, bottom-of-funnel Meta campaigns reached a 2.5x ROAS, with retargeting traffic converting at 34%, while promotional testing during BFCM reduced CPA by 94%.

The Challenge
Please Assist Me offers an unusual value proposition: residents in partner apartment buildings can outsource everyday household tasks through one service.
That convenience created an acquisition challenge. Prospective customers first needed to understand what Please Assist Me was, how the service worked, and why it was relevant to them before they could be expected to sign up and schedule a service.
When Bluum launched the engagement, another major priority was measurement. The team wanted paid media to be evaluated against actual customer activity and revenue rather than surface-level advertising metrics, but the existing tracking infrastructure made that difficult.
Bluum needed to build both sides of the equation: a customer acquisition funnel capable of creating and converting demand, and the measurement infrastructure needed to understand whether that demand was producing business results.
The Pain Points
Please Assist Me's business model required Bluum to solve challenges across the entire customer journey, from introducing the concept to accurately measuring the value of a completed purchase.
Selling a Service Customers Weren't Already Searching For
Please Assist Me wasn't competing within one traditional service category. The product was convenience itself, which meant advertising needed to communicate the broader value of outsourcing household tasks to busy professionals.
Connecting Advertising to Revenue
Early in the engagement, revenue attribution wasn't reliable enough to optimize campaigns around ROAS. Bluum needed to improve conversion tracking and connect completed services more accurately with paid media activity.
Turning Awareness Into Purchases
Introducing the service was only the first step. Bluum needed a funnel capable of moving someone from discovering Please Assist Me to signing up and ultimately scheduling a paid service.
Understanding What Actually Drove Conversion
Creative format, promotions, landing-page imagery, messaging, and calls to action all had the potential to influence performance. Rather than relying on assumptions, Bluum built testing into both the advertising and landing-page strategy.
The Huumans
Behind The Work
Great results don’t come from systems alone, they come from the people behind them.
Each Bluum partnership is backed by a cross-functional team that blends strategy, design, and leadership oversight to move fast and think smart.
Every win starts with the people who make it happen.
Here’s the team that brought this one to life.
Account Lead
Clare Fisher
Clare served as the main point of contact and project quarterback. She guided communication, managed timelines, and made sure every piece of the partnership stayed on track and on brand.
Lead Designer
Toni Cantu
Toni shaped the visual direction of the work by translating goals and audience insights into creative that captured attention and drove action.
The Results
As tracking improved and campaign data accumulated, Bluum was able to optimize the funnel around the audiences, offers, and customer behaviors most closely connected to actual purchases.
2.5x Bottom-of-Funnel ROAS
Retargeting became a particularly strong component of the acquisition strategy, ultimately reaching a 2.5x ROAS as Bluum focused bottom-of-funnel campaigns on users who had already demonstrated interest in Please Assist Me.
34% Bottom-of-Funnel Conversion Rate
High-intent retargeting traffic converted at 34%, demonstrating the value of separating prospecting from audiences already familiar with the service rather than treating every potential customer the same.
94% Lower CPA During BFCM
Bluum used Black Friday and Cyber Monday as an opportunity to test a $30 promotional offer. Compared with the prior period reported in the review, CPA decreased 94% while scheduled services increased substantially.
Static and Video Creative Produced Comparable Acquisition Costs
Holiday creative testing revealed that video and static ads produced nearly identical acquisition costs. Rather than assuming video would inherently outperform static creative, Bluum used the results to guide future creative investment.
The Strategy
Bluum built Please Assist Me’s strategy around capturing high-intent demand and turning that interest into qualified leads as efficiently as possible. Rather than treating every search or potential customer the same, campaigns were structured around the services and search behaviors most closely aligned with someone actively looking for help, allowing budget to stay concentrated around stronger opportunities.
As performance data accumulated, Bluum continuously refined keyword targeting, search terms, bidding, and budget allocation to reduce wasted spend and improve lead quality. Lower-performing areas were deprioritized while stronger campaigns and search themes received greater focus, allowing the account to evolve based on actual customer behavior rather than assumptions.
The strategy also extended beyond simply generating traffic. Bluum focused on the full path from search to conversion, aligning ad messaging with the customer's intent and creating a clearer connection between what someone searched, what they saw in the ad, and the action they were ultimately being asked to take.
Over time, those insights created a more efficient and scalable acquisition framework for Please Assist Me. Instead of relying on broader traffic growth alone, Bluum used ongoing testing and optimization to identify where the strongest demand existed and concentrate investment around the audiences, searches, and messaging most likely to become customers.

“Bluum brought the expertise we needed to make our Google Ads work harder. They helped us refine our strategy, reach more of the right prospective clients, and generate more leads while lowering our cost per lead. Cue
Bluum
When you're selling something customers haven't purchased before, performance marketing has to do more than capture existing demand.
For Please Assist Me, Bluum built the journey from the first introduction through the final purchase, combining paid media, creative testing, landing-page optimization, promotions, and better revenue tracking into one acquisition system.
The result was a bottom-of-funnel strategy reaching a 2.5x ROAS and 34% conversion rate, alongside testing that revealed exactly which offers, messages, and experiences could move customers closer to purchase.

Creative That Converts
Please Assist Me's creative needed to sell more than an individual household service. It needed to communicate the value of getting time back.
Bluum tested static and video advertising, promotional creative, landing-page imagery, value propositions, and calls to action to identify the messages and formats most likely to move busy professionals from awareness to purchase. Those learnings carried from the ads into the landing page, creating a more consistent experience from the first impression through scheduling a service.
Show: This one should be especially visual. We have a Creative Vault in the Please Assist Me Drive folder, plus the performance deck includes creative-analysis sections. I would use a Meta ad alongside the Unbounce landing page rather than only showing one asset.
